Celebrating it's 23rd year, the BIG Event is Pitt State's largest one-day service event! It encourages students and organizations to give back to the local community. All service projects occur outdoors, with jobs including raking leaves, mulching, cleaning flower beds, and various other yard work tasks. It's a day where PSU students come together to engage in service as a thank you to residents of the area.

Volunteers should dress for outdoor work - closed toed shoes are highly encouraged. Volunteers will be doing yard work, window washing, and gutter cleaning. This is a great time to earn some community service hours, hang out with your friends, and do something nice for Pittsburg. Volunteers must sign up for this event before March 26 at noon in order to participate. Organizations may participate as a group but individual registration is required.
