Pittsburg State University Campus Activities Center is proud to host the third annual campus wide MLK Day of Service! This one-day service event encourages students and organizations to give back to the local Pittsburg community. Service projects will occur outdoors and indoors, with jobs including cleaning, organizing, food pantry work, packaging, and more. The day will begin with a brief Kickoff Event at check-in and a moment of silence for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who championed service and leadership throughout his life's work. We want to encourage our students and staff participating to consider this day of service "A Day On, Not A Day Off!". From the wise words of MLK, we call upon Pitt State to engage in public service and promote social change for the betterment of our community. Each attendee will receive a takeaway and breakfast!
