Students, we invite you to make a difference on the 2nd Annual MLK Day of Service! Spend a few hours giving back to the local Pittsburg community in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who championed service and leadership throughout his life!

Service projects will occur outdoors and indoors, with jobs including cleaning, organizing, food pantry work, packaging, and more. No special skills are needed!

Join us for an inspiring kick-off and a moment of silence, then spread out across campus and the community to volunteer at sites that can use your help!

You'll receive a beanie hat and a delicious breakfast!

Helpful info:

• Specific addresses, tasks, team members, and volunteer time are visible on the sign-in form (linked above). A hard copy will also be provided at the Kickoff Event.
• Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty or ripping and closed-toed shoes.
• We'll provide necessary materials for each work site.
• Dress in layers. It could be cold when you start working and warm by the time you finish. If inclement weather occurs, you will be notified of an alternate plan.
• You'll sign an assumption of risk when you check in with your Event Pass using the CORQ app.
