https://sperry-galligar.com/Missouri and many other states are facing a severe turkey decline. Using modern GPS research we are learning that there is a serious lack of suitable turkey nesting and brood-rearing habitat. This is a key factor in supporting the next generation of birds. Come learn what turkeys need to survive their first 14 days post hatch and what can be done to create more habitat for these iconic birds.
Presented for Sperry Galligar Audubon by PSU alumna Meagan Duffee-Yates, Turkey Habitat Initiative Coordinator for the Missouri Department of Conservation.
This program is free and open to the public.
