At 6 p.m., the Kansas City Latin Jazz Orchestra will perform at the Community Festival Hispano, held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. The KCLJO is a professional performance ensemble that integrates graduates of the Latin Jazz Studies Program at the Latin Jazz Institute and established professionals, master musicians, and visiting artists. Both performances are free and open to the public. 

Also on this date at 3 p.m., Banda Camp and Pittsburg Hispanic Banda, comprised of Pitt State alumni, students, and friends, will perform as part of Pittsburg ArtWalk, held on Broadway between Fourth and Seventh streets. 

Additional events are planned as part of the Hispanic Music Festival through Oct. 17.
